"News from Thoreau Central" is the blog of the Thoreau Country Conservation Alliance (TCCA), a 501 (c) 3 organization based in Concord, Massachusetts. Its mission is to further the protection of landscapes immortalized in the writings of Henry D. Thoreau (1817-1862), beginning with, but by no means limited to, Walden Pond and Walden Woods.
